The works shown here come from an inner need to create. They are neither commissions nor attempts to meet other people’s expectations. I paint for the pure joy of creating, to capture what moves or intrigues me at a particular moment. Sometimes I simply let myself follow the flow, without a plan or a fixed vision.

Each work records a particular time, state of mind, experience or question. I do not plan my paintings around the market, trends or other people’s tastes. They emerge when an impulse and a need for creative expression arise.

I believe art finds its audience at the right moment. Sometimes a single painting can say more than many words, and its meaning only becomes complete when someone stands before it.
